For most of my adult life, I believed being a “good person” meant being available for everyone else.


Yes to helping.
Yes to staying late.
Yes to fixing problems that weren’t mine.

From the outside, my life looked responsible, dependable… even admirable.

But inside?

I was exhausted.


As a massage therapist, I spent years working with people’s bodies—feeling the tension stored in their shoulders, their jaws, their hips. Over time I began to notice something deeper.


So many people—especially women—weren’t just physically tense.

They were living in misalignment.

They had built entire lives around expectations, obligations, and roles that slowly pulled them away from who they really were.


And if I’m honest… I was one of them.

For years, I didn’t realize that people-pleasing wasn’t kindness.


It was disconnection from myself.


I didn’t realize that saying yes to everything meant saying no to my own purpose.

And I definitely didn’t realize how much resentment, burnout, and quiet frustration were building underneath the surface.


Until life forced me to look at it.


That moment—the one where you realize something has to change—can feel terrifying.

But it can also become the beginning of everything.


What Changed Everything for Me


I didn’t wake up one day magically confident, aligned, and purposeful.

What I did instead was begin a slow, intentional process of reconnecting with myself.


I started asking questions most of us were never taught to ask:

What do I actually want?
What beliefs am I carrying that were never mine to begin with?
Where am I abandoning myself just to keep the peace?


Over time, I developed a process that helped me move from burnout and resentment… into clarity, grounded confidence, and a life that actually felt like mine.

Not perfect.

But deeply aligned.

In this phase, we gently identify and release the belief systems that quietly keep you stuck in people-pleasing patterns.
